Project Objectives/Components

To support UzGeoDezKadastr in establishing a Land and Property Registration System in two pilot registration centres, using the experience of the earlier registration project as a starting point.

To contribute to the conceptual, methodological and practical development of a system where land and can be traded at market values and where land and property can be used as collateral for loans and where UzGeoDezKadastre has an important role in supporting such a system.

Project Tasks

To assist in establishing the legal, institutional and administrative preconditions to implement the land registration system nation-wide and to make a detailed plan, including costing, of the implementation.
