The objective of the work was to evaluate the proposal for upgrading the capacity of the State Registry and make appropriate recommendations to the MCC Property Rights and Land Policy Team. | Project Tasks | - Conducted a diagnostic assessment of the State Registry's physical resources, including offices archives hardware and software
- Conducted a diagnostic assessment of the State Registry's current operational procedures, staff capacity, and staffing levels
- Evaluated the proposal's hardware and software requests to ensure that they conform with international best practices
- Assessed how the request for support from MCC fits into the NLIS scheme proposed under the ADB project, identify potential problems, and made recommendations for resolving problems and improving the approach that MCC is being asked to fund
- Assessed the budget proposed for the State Registry upgrade to determine sustainability and whehter it delivered fair value for the cost. This especially applied to the hardware and software reqeusts.
