Project Objectives/Components

The purpose of this assignment is to meet with appropriate faculty at Ikh Zasah University and work with them to develop a detailed outline for a comprehensive real estate program for the University covering not only emerging issues in Mongolia, but also delivering a curriculum outline well grounded in international real estate best practices.

Project Tasks

Conduct an investigation regarding:

• Real estate governmental institutions and private institutions
• Land Administration and Regulation
• Real Estate law, including relevant provisions of the Constitution, Land Code, Registration Law, Mortgage Law, governmental zoning restrictions and land use regulations, environmental Law and other laws regarding land and real estate.
• Rights in land and other real estate
• Issues regarding land allocation and privatization
• Sale and purchase
• Perfecting rights in land and other real estate
