Project Objectives/Components

  • Provided a comprehensive management and maintenance system for state land and property at the Department of Lands and Surveys (DOLS)
  • Provided a system that holds records of state land and property details relating to leases, acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews, elase renewals, assignments, valuations, maintenance and assets
  • Development of a system that supports Property Ownership/Assets, Leases, and Assignments, Acquisitions and Disposals, Works and Maintenance and Spatially Enabling Interface using ArcSDE from ESRI.

Project Tasks

  • Backfile data loading of property data from previous systems
  • Integration of scanned survey maps
  • Loading of geo-spatial data into the ArcSDE environment including survey and other property data
  • Customization of fields and interface specific to the workflow and needs of the DLS
  • Training services for at least 15 staff over a period of 5 calendar months
  • Business process analysis and review of all workflows related to Estate Management within the Deaprtment of Lands and Surveys
